The Cenotaph Project

Project Description:

The Barrhaven Community Cenotaph Project is a joint community initiative led by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 641 Barrhaven, to honour those who have served, through the creation of a memorial park and cenotaph.

This memorial park will be built on land adjacent to the John McCrae Secondary School on Malvern Drive in Barrhaven. The park will provide an area for remembrance and reflection. As well, it will provide a location for Remembrance Day ceremonies.

The fundraising goal to build this memorial park and cenotaph is $50,000. Funds will be raised from members of the Barrhaven community, businesses and service groups.
